Going forward, Taxi Squad will be for devy players and rookies only. You will be able to promote and demote all year long to and from your taxi squad. All non-devy players must be off the taxi squad by the renewal deadline each year. If they are not, they will be dropped from the roster. If the team is an orphan, the appropriate moves will be made using DLF’s Dynasty ADP.
Injured Reserve must be cleared before the renewal deadline each year. If there are players on injured reserve after the renewal deadline, they will be dropped from the roster. If the team is an orphan, the appropriate moves will be made using DLF’s Dynasty ADP.
This will no longer be decided by toilet bowl or any other method you have in the past starting with the 2020 rookie draft. Starting in 2019, the below new method will be used in all leagues.
The non-playoff teams will get draft picks 1-6 in order of lowest potential points through week 13. This will curb any potential tanking. Benching a stud does no good when potential points determines draft order. If you don’t know what potential points is, MFL tracks what your best possible lineup could have been for that week. This gives a better view of how good your team is and could have been. We strongly feel this is better for draft order in that it appropriately gives pick order to worse rosters. It also curbs tanking in that there is no reason to bench a stud player in hopes of a better draft pick. That stud’s points will be counted when calculating draft order. The potential points totals used for draft order will be the total through week 13. This will be the order for each round of the draft.
Tiebreakers will be:
The trade deadline will be the Wednesday evening at 10PM EST, prior to Thanksgiving each year.
Teams may only trade draft picks one year in advance of current year.
Future year draft picks can be traded. If you are trading a future 1st round pick, you must pay for the year in which that pick resides.
If the commissioner receives 3 protests of a trade in a league, the Commissioner will review and the decision after that review will be final.
Will be randomized each year upon moving over to the new year on Myfantasyleague.
2nd Round (week 15)
The 1st seed will play the winner of the 4th seed vs. 5th seed game.
The 2nd seed will play the winner of the 3rd seed vs. 6th seed game.
The toilet bowl bracket with a renewal credit prize will no longer happen in these leagues. It will be replaced with a renewal credit prize for the top scoring team for combined weeks 14-16.
If a team is abandoned during the season, lineups will be submitted based on MFL’s projected scoring for those players. Abandoned teams will not perform waivers or make trades. Quest can not actively manage an abandoned team. Quest will look to fill that open team as fast as they can.
Payouts for leagues with abandoned teams remain the same as the normal payout structure.
Quest may find an owner to take over the team in season. When a new owner is found, that team may trade, make waiver moves, and set lineups and all other functions of an owner in the league.
For 2019: You keep 1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST, 1 Flex. There is a 13 round draft in August to fill out the remainder of your roster.
For 2020: You keep any 5 players. There is a 15 round draft in August to fill out the remainder of your roster.
You must be paid up in all your leagues (Quest and SafeLeagues) and must not have orphaned 3 or more teams from the previous year in order to purchase orphan teams.
